Jade is a Partner based in our Dubai Office, in charge of the firm’s PE, Capital Market & Regulated (financial) Activities practice group.
With over 20 years post qualification experience, including 18 years in the GCC, Jade has been engaged in a variety of legal assignments across the MENA region, gaining valuable UAE and other GCC experience.
Jade has provided many years of legal consultation in the areas of Regulated Activities & Compliance (Federal and ADGM regulations); all types of investment funds, PE; Capital Market; M&A; Corporate/Capital Structuring; JVAs, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP projects), and many facets of commercial advisory (including agencies, distributorships, leasing of movables assets, Regulated (non-financial) Activities and all types of commercial services agreements.
Jade has authored many publications in regional legal magazines and presented several seminars in the UAE regarding a range of capital market and corporate matters. Jade is also a Lecturer at the Paris Sorbonne University, Abu Dhabi Campus.
Jade is fluent in Arabic, English, and French language.
He graduated in law from La Sagesse University (Beirut, Lebanon) in 1997 and completed his Masters in Banking Law from the same university in 1999. He is admitted to the Beirut Bar Association since 1999, and registered Legal Consultant with the Dubai Government Legal Affairs Department since 2013.
