
Sherif Samy is a senior corporate and commercial lawyer with more than two decades of experience advising companies, shareholders, investors, boards of directors and C-suite executives on complex transactions, strategic projects and business-critical legal matters across the UAE, Egypt and the wider GCC.
His practice encompasses corporate structuring and reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, corporate governance, foreign investment, legal due diligence and domestic and cross-border commercial transactions.
Sherif has extensive experience structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements across a wide range of business sectors. His work covers supply and procurement, international sale and purchase, distribution and commercial agency, services and consultancy, franchising and licensing, technology and IT, logistics and supply-chain, real-estate and finance-related arrangements.
He also advises on the contractual frameworks governing engineering and construction projects, including engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, maintenance, warranty and project-support agreements, with particular emphasis on risk allocation, performance obligations, payment and security mechanisms, liability regimes, warranties, indemnities, guarantees and dispute-avoidance provisions.
